This summer I am participating in Kaleo. Kaleo is an eight-week summer development program put on by a Christian organization I am involved in at Texas A&M, called Student Mobilization (StuMo) devoted to helping college students develop in their leadership, character, and relationship with God. Kaleo is a focused eight weeks where students are given every opportunity to grow as leaders and as individuals. While at Kaleo, I will be working a 35-40 hour/week job. I will also be placed in a discipleship group with about three other students. I will be attending large group meetings where speakers talk on subjects like prayer, the Bible, and the importance of character to challenge and motivate me to grow. There are interactive trainings where I will be learning practical skills to invest in my personal relationship with God as well as tools to help me grow spiritually. Additionally, there are several conferences at Kaleo covering topics like dating & marriage, discipleship, and missions. I will also serve at a local church in the area while at Kaleo! Thank you for considering donating. The funds I raise will cover housing, program materials, speakers, facilities, and a few provided meals each week.
